Game Fishing....

The Bushtown is situated on the banks of the river Bann, a river that offers anglers almost everything from game species to the very best in coarse fishing , The Bann has long enjoyed one of the largest salmon runs in the UK, with spring fish regularly caught and weighing well into the late teens (lbs) and beyond. The later grilse run can also reach record breaking sizes, and the tidal stretch of the river can play scene to some first class sea trout fishing.

Also on offer is some superb brown trout fishing, on the Bann or in some of the other rivers that attribute like the Moyola or the Agivey . This Magnificent river system offers it all…

Game Fishing Package Example:-

Day 1:  Arrive at the hotel mid afternoon, settle in and relax with complimentary use of our leisure facilities. In the evening enjoy a dining experience in our award winning restaurant.

Day 2: Set out for a days Salmon fishing at Movanagher (River Bann) accompanied by one of our professional Gillies.

Day 3: Today you fish one of the most famous Salmon pools in Ireland at Carnroe (River Bann)

DAY 4: After breakfast depart hotel, with your catch and the memories!!!!

Shooting Breaks....

The Hotel is on the doorstep to the largest commercial shoot in Ireland and we can also offer deer stalking, fantastic wild fowling, woodcock (walked up or driven) and snipe (walked up or driven).

The hotel owners (who are avid conservationists) have been supporting and promoting field and country sports for years. Facilities at the Bushtown are constantly upgraded to meet the ever growing requirements of the travelling shooter, with facilities such as; secure police approved storage for guns, ammunition and a fantastic dry room.
All Packages can be tailored to suit individual party requirements. These packages offer some of the most challenging and sought after shooting available today….. 

 Shooting package example (10 Guns):-

Day 1: Arrive at hotel mid after noon settle in and relax with complimentary use of our leisure facilities, plus a dining experience in our award winning restaurant.

Day 2: Up early and off to the moor for a mornings snipe shooting.
Then back to the hotel for an early lunch before a few drives of woodcock.

Day 3: 200 partridge Driven off the hill, with speed for the most challenging shot.

Day 4: Time to head for home, and lets hope with the memories of that illusive “left and right !!”
